How to Solve Autel IM608 Ford F350 2023 No Beeping?

 Problem:

I have a problem with a 2021 F350, all the keys lost, with the alarm going off. Key in the ignition. I’ve been waiting 10 minutes, the car beeps twice then says OK and Autel IM608 asks me to wait approximately another 10 minutes. It is not beeping, and after the error to enter security. Has something similar happened to any of you, and if so, how can you resolve it?

Solution:

Turn off Bluetooth and connect USB. Use Gbox to turn off active alarm. Try again.

Autel is not a good tool for Ford active alarms. Obdstar and Autopropad are far better.

Other tools out has a bypass cable set up that works great, not autel.

Autel really sucks at doing active alarm, I have been successful with it but it’s a headache. I have fdrs now, done in 10 minutes.

Autel IM508 Add Toyota Sequoia 2023 Smart Key Bypass PIN

 Autel IM508 adds a spare 8A BA smart key to Toyota Sequoia 2023 using the 30-pin cable.

Select Control Unit->Keyless System CAN

Then Backup immo data.

Make sure the device has a good network connection.

Reading eeprom data

The IMMO data has backed up.

Select Add smart key

Step 1: PIN Verification
Step 2: Key Learning

Confirm VIN

Select the eeprom data we have backed up in the previous step

Reading PIN

Then learn key

Add a smart key successfully.

Test the new key.

Nissan Qashqai J10 Autel IM608 Car Not Start Solution

 Here comes the problem:

Tried to add a new knob-style smart key to a Nissan Qashqai J10 from 2014 using Autel IM608. The car died, no start just i-key system fault and a red car with a key on the dashboard.
BCM is number is 284b2-br02c, it is not on the blacklist.
What is the solution?

Here is the user solution:

The car is working again, and 2 keys are learned. (Nissan Qashqai J10 2014)

This car has the old type keyless system with the black keys, so it cannot be bricked.

The solution is: (with Autel IM608)
0. keep the battery over 12V
1. remove the battery from the keyfobs
2. at the Immo status scan, chose Immo learning, then Blade Key learning
3. when the steps appear on the screen, turn the ignition to LOCK position, remove the key and OPEN and CLOSE the driver door
4. do the steps and the car will learn all the keys
5. put back the batteries into the fobs, and learn the smart remotes separately.

These steps are missing from the guide:
Turn the ignition to LOCK position. Remove the key. Open and close the driver door.

 

 

Some more tips on Nissan Qashqai J10 key programming: 

Qashqai J10 is not the same as 4A smart key system cars like Qashqai J11. These cars do not have the same problem, as the later version.

Since the J10 is the old version 2006/2007 and up to 2014. Standard key and keyless twist knob.

 

When keyless twist knob, program chip first and then keyless part.

Important that the key is programmed in the right direction.
Nissan Logo needs to be UP, when placing the key in the ignition.
And then turn, when doing the sequence.

Also bare in mind that when doing the key programming process, when told to switch ignition off, ensure you fully turn ignition off.
If yours has a small push button on the ignition unit, when turning off you must press this button and it turns a little more its then fully off, failing to do this where this is fitted will result in failure.

 

If car died and cannot be recovered by Autel IM608,  try online programming with Launch X431.  Might solve the problem.

Online program fix with X431 helped me out twice, on the same type of car.

(Did not use it with Key programming, only afterwards).

Autel IM608 Bricked Audi Encrypted BCM2 Solution

 Xhorse and Autel which is better to add key Audi encrypted BCM2?  Software version 0711 is very risky.

 

Autel IM508/IM608

You will need xp400 pro. XP400 will not read bcm2 encryption. XP400 Pro has some advantages over xp400 might look the same but it reads more chips and unlocks locked keys etc.

Autel works fine on encrypted BCM2 but requires using diodes (Normal rectifier diodes, 1N4001-1N4007).

But Autel has a risk of breaking BCM2.

Here is an example:

Tried to read encrypted BCM2 with IM608 and XP400 Pro. It identified correctly, read some data, tried to calculate and came back with network error and now the BCM is dead.
BCM2 recovery will not work as the file Autel saved is ‘not supported’.

It read a 1kb data file and 41kb immo file and then lost communication after that. Autel didn’t make a backup as it died in the reading process.

 

Time to get a new BCM2. Buy a new BCM and dealer key and ODIS.

 

Xhorse VVDI2 or VVDI Key Tool Plus all day for those. Xhorse is much better for VAG.

Vvdi2 or Key tool plus with BCM2 adaptor. No soldering is required. Works perfectly. Done BCM2 AKL with in 30min all job.

If car won’t crank, boost the car to get more that 12v and learn the same key again. Also clear dtc after learning.

VVDI2 and VVDI Prog also can clone locked BCM. Just need to buy this same HW /SW, load service data, and read it again and decode.

How to Repair Audi DEF on cluster with Autel IM508

 Problem:

How to repair DEF on 2004 audi a4 b6 RB4 crypto cluster? Read data with old Chinese tool (super vag+ k-line) and got this error afterwards.

Solution:

Easy to fix with genuine AVDI or FVDI clone.

Autel im508/im608 can also repair this problem.

With im508/608, select Repair Vehicle Start Failure and follow the prompts.
