Autel IM608 Program 2021 Ford F150 Key via APB131

2021 Ford F150 Smart key (all keys lost) is done with Autel IM608 and Autel apb131 adapter.

Need to remove BCM and reading the D-flash with xp400 pro and apb131.

BCM location:

The BCM is located on the passenger side at footwell it’s not the easiest thing but it ain’t terrible take you about 15 minutes to get it out.

Where’s this option in Autel IM508/IM608?

Menu path:
Manual by vehicle->then go to Smart key learning->Read D-flash via programmer

You can see the wiring diagram. Reading the d flash not an easy task but if you have the soldering skills it’s very achievable.

Besides, for the one hot connection to that little bitty capacitor it’s actually very easy to solder up.

After reading d-flash data, just learn smart keys.

You can also do it with FDRS. It takes 5 minutes with FDRS.  FDRS is like $900 / year.

If some failed on F-150 with active alarm using FDRS, you can try this way with apb131.

The new apb131 adapter is pretty sweet. It adds a whole bunch of support for Volkswagens without removing resistors from the cluster.

 

Autel IM508 Mazda CX-5 2022 Asks for Pin Code?

 Question:

Working on a Mazda CX9 2022, all keys lost. It requires incode to be put in. I use mazda service link with NASTF and it asks me for a serial number. Can someone tell me where do I find that number? Using Autel IM508. I only get VIN, Part number, error code, and Outcode, and nothing else. The same thing happens to a 2023/2022 Mazda CX-5.  The CX9 is the same as CX5.

You’re missing the SN for the in code and out code Autel doesn’t pull it.

Smart pro worked. IM508/IM608 didn’t because it didn’t pull SN.

You still gonna need the NASTF code with the smart pro.

MDARS is gauranteed to work. $50 for 3 day sub, $100 for 30 day. You don’t even need NASTF. You will need to pay seperately for in code/out code but it’s possible.

Program Nissan Rogue 2024 AKL by SmartPro or Autel IM608

 Here comes the user feedback:

2024 Nissan Rogue All smart keys lost, smartpro no go, Autel IM608 and APB131 for the win.

Used 40 pin special gateway cable for Nissan on the Smart Pro and failed.

Some rogue models have had a security update done at Dealer. The model is 100 % supported by SmartPro but apparently, there is a bulletin out about a Nissan security update that the dealer does and can’t be done.

“Some 2023-2024 Infiniti/Nissan have experienced a security update. Many will program with SmartPro software. However, if you can analyze the key but it failed to read the data during the next
step, that implies the vehicle has experienced a manufacturer’s security update that requires the Dealer tool for programming.”

This can happen on a Sentra as well.

Here is another example.

Nissan Sentra/Juke 2022 – Push Start. Connected with bypass cable to im608 and this message comes up asking for 28 digit code.
In this case, the car had a security update done at Dealer. Need to remove HFM module to read data and program key.

 

 

Autel did the job.

Tools Used: Autel IM608, APB131 adapter.

Need to remove HFM (Hands Free Module) and read pin from HFM dump.

No component removal only solder the board of HFM to read the data.

Supposedly Consult3+ had server issues so I decided to try doing it manually. I spent a lot of time looking for the HFM module and almost as much time getting it out. (I will find easier ways of pulling it. HFM is on the passenger side).

Autel IM608 or OBDSTAR for Renault Clio V 2022 All Keys Lost?

 What tool is better for Renault Clio V 2022 hybrid all key lost programming? Autel IM508/IM608 or OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3/X300 DP plus?

 

 

OBDSTAR:

OBDSTAR does cover this model. You will need gateway adapter to bypass security gateway.

In this case, it is not the good place for gateway bypass and 4- the steerling column lock is in the unlocked state. The column is locked and can’t unlock. So need luck with OBDSTAR.

You cannot do all keys lost with OBDSTAR if without pin code.

Autel: 

You cannot do all keys lost with Autel if without pin code.

They have a module (program remote) to find password with 8 solders on the HFM.

You will find the password with AUTEL+ APB131 adapter.

Autel IM608 Read Benz W220 AKL Password from Broken Remote!

 It’s an interesting finding. You can get Mercedes Benz all keys lost password with Autel IM608 II from broken remote instead of removing the EIS.

This method only works on fishtail Mercedes keys. 

 

For example 1:

2000 s430 w220 all keys lost get password from broken remote. The wiring is on the tablet.

Example 2:

Mercedes add key no problem, get password from broken remote.

Autel IM508 IM608 Factory Reset Guide

 How to reset Autel MaxiIM IM508/IM608/ IM508S/ IM608 II to factory setting?

Same procedure goes to OTOFIX IM1/IM2.

System- System settings- System- Reset options- Erase all data (factory reset)





Tick Erase SD card and hit RESET TABLET.

Hit Erase everything.

The tool will Wipe everything out (accounts, Wifi settings, and Scan data).

The tool will restart. Reconnect it to your Wifi, Open the MaxiIM app, go to Updates. install any system Updates (System, OS, LinComm, etc).

Procedure:

Remove and disassemble engine ECU.

In IM508 go to System Selection-Engine- Direct- Boot- E chassis- Bosch-TC1766 EDC17C06.

Check wiring diagram and instructions.

Connect ECU with gbox and xp400 pro following the diagram in boot.

Read ISN.

Read ISN successfully.
