Autel IM508 IM608: Obtain VW PIN and CS Code?

 Tutorial on how to obtain VW PIN code and CS code when programming key with any of IM600/IM608(Pro), IM100/IM508, MaxiSys IM, OTOFIX IM1. [Related vehicle models ]: VW with IMMO IV, MQB, IMMO IV & MQB (for example: Volkswagen Amarok 2011) , [VW Version]: v5.10 and higher.

 

1. Users send request to ask PIN code and CS code.

Go to IMMO>>VW>>Advanced Mode

 

1.1 MQB

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

Advanced Mode>MQB(Beta)>Key learning

Advanced Mode>MQB(Beta)>All keys lost

 

1.2 IMMO 4

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 Instrument CAN>Key learning

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 Instrument CAN>All keys lost

1.3 IMMO 4+MQB

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 + MQB Key>Key learning

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 +MQB Key>All keys lost

2. User contacts Autel dealer or Autel tech support

Contact Autel dealer or Autel tech support to obtain codes when screen shows like below. User please tell the VIN of his vehicle.

[Sever computation failed. Please contact the dealer!

Error code:1001]

 

3. Autel tech support tell user the PIN code and CS code

Autel dealer or Autel tech support will tell user the PIN code and CS code via phone, email or instant messengers.

 

4. User inputs PIN code and CS code to finish the key learning.

4.1 MQB

Menu Path:

Expert Selection>Instrument MQB >VDO NEC 35XX>Make dealer key

Expert Selection>Instrument MQB >VDO NEC 35XX>Key learning

MQB : the CS input screen to make dealer key.

(Without original key then has to input the 32-byte key data. )

4.2 IMMO 4

Make dealer key

Expert Selection>IMMO IV Instrument CAN>VDO NEC 24C64 2014>Make dealer key

Key learning:

Expert Selection>IMMO IV Instrument CAN>VDO NEC 24C64 2014>Key learning

Make dealer key : the screen to input CS code

4.3 IMMO 4+MQB

Make dealer key:

Expert Selection>IMMO 4+MQB key >Generate dealer key

Key learning:

Expert Selection> IMMO 4+MQB key >Key learning

 

IMMO IV+MQB make dealer key input cs code interface.
