Tips to Program GM 2021 All Smart Keys Lost with Autel IM508

 What’s required and what’s the procedure to program GM new system 2021-2024 all proximity key lost using Autel IM508/IM608?

Here is the clue.

Models affected:

Chevrolet – Suburban Tahoe Silverado Equinox ONIX 2021-2024

GMC – Yukon Sierra Denali 2021-2024

Cadillac -Escalade CT4 CT52021-2024

 

What’s required:

Autel MaxiIM IM508/IM608 device

Autel CAN FD adapter 

24-digit security code from 3rd party

2 smart keys to be programmed

 

NOTE:

GM has banned 3rd party from accessing GM server to obtain security code. So you have to contact third party to calculate ecm and bcm rolling code.

If you cannot get the pin code, you should better use the SPS2+ J2534 device. If you can get the code, follow the procedure below to complete key programming with Autel.

You can use any device xtool, Autel, OBDSTAR, Xhorse, but before proceeding you must check you valid keys, CAN FD adapter and pin code.

 

Complete process Add key / All key lost

 

1) Connect CAN FD Adapter to the car.

2) Scan Vin number or search manually for model.

Note: In some cars, Xtool / Autopropad can calculate ecm BCM code for free. Note: for all key lost keep opening and closing driver door in every 3-4 seconds until you 12min of timer on your tool.

3) As you get ecm got send it to third party.

4) Enter the 24 digit ecm code, And send BCM code the same third party .

5) Entre 24 digit BCM code .

6) Wait for 12min cycle .

7) Put the key in Cup holder / Key slot.

8)You will see in dashboard, ready for key 1, now push the start button for second.

9) repeat step 9 for further key .

10) hold down press start button for 10-25 seconds to get out of programming mode.

 

 

Detail procedure:

Connect CAN FD adapter to car.

Scan Vin and confirm vehicle information. For example, this is a Chevrolet Suburban 2021

Go to Hot function-> All smart keys lost (guided)

Perform 7 steps to program all keys lost.

All current learned keys will be erased. This function requires at least 2 keys to be learned.

ECM security access. Send the ECM security check code to third party. Enter the 24-digit ecm code, And send BCM code the same third party . Enter 24-digit BCM code.

ECM security verification succeeded.

Wait for 12min cycle. Configuring system. 

Put the key in to be learned in the cup holder and take all other keys out of the vehicle.

You will see in dashboard, ready for key 1, now push the start button for a second.

Repeat and program key 2/3

Key learning complete.

Turn off the ignition and open and close the driver door.
Ensure that all power consumers are turned off.
Configuring system. Hold down and press start button for 10-25 seconds to get out of programming mode.

Done. Test new keys.

Autel IM608 Nissan Juke 2020 All Keys Lost Asks for PIN Code?

 Problem: 

Tried to add key to Nissan Juke of Europe 2021 with sword key using Autel IM608 II. I start the process and at point three, it tells me to put the pin code, which with an xml file you have generated with some data, Where to get that pin code (outcode) with the data saved by Autel?

Solution:

1. You get the pin code by third parties and it Enter to continue.

 

2. If want to get the pin code with data saved by Autel, you will need to read pin from dump HFM using the APB131 adapter.

APB131 adapter and xp400 pro will read pin code for the following Nissan models:

How to Calculate VAG MQB AKL Sync Data with Autel?

 Good news!  Autel MaxiIM IM508/IM608 (also OTOFIX IM1/IM2) now has an integrated mqb2 calculator.  There is now a MQB sync Data calculator built into to immo software. You don’t need to obtain sync data from 3rd party if program all keys lost.

 

You will need XP400 Pro (XP1 Pro for OTOFIX) to calculate sync data.

 

We need CS from each cluster, ecu, gearbox (if automatic ),  kessy (if keyless )

Instrument panel CS code 16 bytes
ECM 16 bytes CS code
Tcu 16 bytes CS code
ESCL (Electonic Steering Column Lock) ELV 16 bytes CS (if present)

Then you will get sync data for free.

Autel IM608 II Read BMW MEVD17.2.1 DME ISN with Gbox

 How to Read BMW ISN code from MEVD17.2.1 ECU using Autel IM608 II Pro and Gbox3.

Select System selection->Engine->Direct mode->Quick Entrance

Input Bosch part number to detect ECU type.

It is MEV17.2.1 DME.

Press Bench to continue.

Select TC1796 MEV17.2.1

IM608 II will show you instruction and wiring diagram.

Connect ECU with Gbox3 following the wiring diagram

Select Read ISN

Follow prompts to read ISN.

Read ISN successfully.

2 Ways to Program Nissan Rogue 2022+ Key with Autel IM608

 There are two ways to program Nissan Rogue T33 or Mitsubishi Outlander 2022+ proximity all keys lost with Autel IM508/IM608.

 

 

Method 1: Use Autel IM608 + Nissan 40 PIN Cable

Method 2: Use Autel IM608 + APB131 Adapter

Here is user’s working experience.

 

“I just did a 2023 Nissan Rogue with the Autel IM608 and Obdstar 40 pin cable. It pulled data from HFM (Hands Free Module) automatically thru the 40 pin cable and acquired the 28 digit pin code. The only problem was the remote buttons were not lined up for the function and it was an aftermarket key so it couldn’t be adjusted. When I pressed start I got Lock and Lock did unlock, Panic was fine but trunk and remote start didn’t work. Gonna order an OEM key. The proximity and starting worked fine.

I didn’t expect it to work without getting the pin somewhere else. I just went into immo status scan which is on the same menu as control unit. I clicked add key Guided at bottom of screen, I had to manually enter the VIN, then next it said getting pin. On the new body style, do not use auto scan. Go through and manually select the vehicle. Input the vin number when it tell you and you will be good to go.

I was confused because I already hacked the HFM module to get the PIN with the XP400 Pro and I figured it would ask for the PIN like it did a few months ago when I first tried this car. It proceeded to download the HFM on its own and called home to autel to decrypt the PIN from the data it acquired. It posted the PIN on the screen, the same PIN I acquired from dumping the HFM manually with the APB131 adapter. It then went thru the normal procedure to tap keys on the button and I was able to add the new key. So apparently Autel has updated and figured out how to get the pin thru the 40 pin cable directly now. My Nissan is V5.00 software version“.

 

Another customer just did a Mitsubishi Outlander 2023 all smart keys lost using Autel and Lonsdor Nissan 40 pin cable. It’s the same thing as a Nissan Rogue. You need to bypass pin code with 40-PIN gateway adapter. lonsdor cable works well also. Do manual selection on these cars and input the vin number. Do not do auto scan on these. Manually input year make and model, and it will ask for the vin during the programming process. Good luck and happy programming!!

How to Read Nissan Rogue Sentra AKL 28-Digit PIN with Autel IM608 APB131

Autel IM508 Program 2023 Nissan Rogue Smart Key Bypass PIN

 How-to: program 2023 Nissan Rogue smart key with Autel im508 and Nissan 40 pin bypass cable.

 

This is a 2023 Nissan Rogue, customer just boght it they don’t have a second key for it.
We need to program an OEM key to it. The aftermarket key trunk and remote start don’t work properly.

From 2022 onwards models you need the bypass connector. We got the OBDSTAR Nissan cable.

Take this fuse panel or fuse block out and then you will see the 40 pin connector of the HFM module.
It is not the black connector, it is the gray connector. Here we connect OBDSTAR Nissan 40 PIN cable.

Need need to manual select vehicle model and year. Do not do auto scan on these.

Go to IMMO Status scan->Add key (guided).

You put the key to get PIN verification, then you just go through the programming procedure.

Make sure when you are doing this you do not have the ignition on when you disconnect these connectors.

Make sure you disconnect everything with the ignition off.
