Autel IM608 and G Box read BMW EDC17C50 ISN Code

Managed to read 2017 BMW F-series DDE8 edc17c50 isn code in boot mode using Autel MaxiIM IM608 & g box.

Note: Autel G box is used to program Mercedes all keys lost and read BMW ISN code with IM608/IM508.

Procedure:

Remove the engine ECU module from the vehicle and open the engine ECU housing
In IM608, select IMMO->European->BMW->System Selection->Engine->Direct->Boot->F-Chassis->Bosch->TC1797 EDC17C50

(Autel IM608 will read EDC17C41, EDC17C56, EDC17CP09, EDC17CP45, EDC17CP49, MEVD17.2, MEVD17.2.4, MEVD17.2.6, MEVD 17.2.6, MEVD 17.2.8, MEVD17.2.9 etc Bosch ECUs)

Check wiring diagram and make good connection

Connect the boot punctuation of the chip part and the DB15 harness boot line in the wiring diagram
Connect the engine ECU interface to the DB15 harness according to the engine ECU interface punctuation in the wiring diagram
Connect the DB15 harness to the G-BOX, then connect the P terminal of the G-Box to the J2534 ecu adapter. Connect the 12 DC terminal of the G-Box to the 12V adapter

Then select Read ISN

Autel IM508 Program Toyota Camry 2016 All Smart Keys Lost via OBD

How-to: program Toyota Camry all smart keys lost, generate simulator and add new smart key with Autel MaxiIM IM508and APB112 simulator.

Vehicle Model: Toyota Camry 2016 hybrid
Key chip: 8A
Lost all keys, new smart key cannot turn on
key not detected and remote do not function

XP400 Adapter
A new smart key

1. Read IMMO data
2.Generate Simulator Key
3. Add Smart Key


Step-by-step procedure:

Connect APB112 with IM508 via USB cable
Select IMMO->Toyota->Manual Selection->Other->Camry->Smart key->Keyless System (CAN)

1. Back up Immobilizer Data
This function is use to back up the EEPROM data of the smart box.
The data can be used to generate the simulator key for emergency start of the vehicle to perform the key programming function.

Write name file and press OK to save dump

Choose backup file

Connect APB112 key simulator

Obtain software name and version

Burning firmware until succeed
The simulator key is generated successfully
The simulator key can be used to turn the ignition on in case of emergency to learn the key

Put the simulator key on Start/Stop button and press

The key can start engine now.
Don’t disconnect USB cable
3. Add smart key
Use the simulator key to turn on ignition

Select Add Smart Key
Confirm to use the simulator key APB112
Each step must be completed within the specified time.

Put the simulator key APB112 close to Start button

Put the new smart key to learned close to the Start button

Note: APB112 simulator need to work with XP400 (not  XP200) and compatible with IM608IM508, MX808IM. It is not only a smart key simulator, but also 46, 4D data collector and ID46 password calculator.
