Autel IM608 or OBDSTAR for Renault Clio V 2022 All Keys Lost?

 What tool is better for Renault Clio V 2022 hybrid all key lost programming? Autel IM508/IM608 or OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3/X300 DP plus?

 

 

OBDSTAR:

OBDSTAR does cover this model. You will need gateway adapter to bypass security gateway.

In this case, it is not the good place for gateway bypass and 4- the steerling column lock is in the unlocked state. The column is locked and can’t unlock. So need luck with OBDSTAR.

You cannot do all keys lost with OBDSTAR if without pin code.

Autel: 

You cannot do all keys lost with Autel if without pin code.

They have a module (program remote) to find password with 8 solders on the HFM.

You will find the password with AUTEL+ APB131 adapter.

Autel IM608 Failed to Program 2019 Dodge Ram Key Solution

 Here comes a similar problem:

2019 Dodge Ram DT 1500. Autel IM608 pulled pin code but would fail every time to program key. I thought it was a key issue but another tool (code cannibal) programmed no problem. I used the same star cable for both tools.

I was successful with a Ram with autel before too, but seems like only certain part numbers are supported. I tried every variable with autel on this one and nothing worked.

Solution:

Autel doesn’t program key for Dodge Ram of the big radio. G2 turbo same thing.

The best tool to program key for this is Xtool. Never had an issue with xtool.

code cannibal or obdstar x300 dp plus will do it without problem as well.

obdstar will pull Pin Code and program key for 2020 Dodge Ram 1500/ 2018-2020 Dodge Ram 2500/ 2018-2020 Dodge Ram 3500. 

– Requires Can Gateway Bypass Cable, Star Connector, or CanBus Probe
– Program Keys and Ability to Exit/Enter Transport Mode (Shipping Mode)

Autel IM608 Cannot Do 2020 Corvette All Keys Lost?

 Question:

2020 Chevrolet Corvette All keys lost. Autel IM608 won’t communicate with ECU.
Any similar experience here?

Solution:

For IM608, you need CAN FD adapter and can only do it during tech hours of Autel. You call them and read the code and they give you the codes to program the keys.

If you want to do the new GM’s you need to really consider getting the obdstar x300 dp plus and CAN FD adapter. it fills more gaps when paired with the im508 then the key tool plus did with the im508.

it’s good on Asian cars too. I had 2 nissan fails in the last month, 1 was a Sentra, forgot the other one, obdstar did it Fine. Autel did program the chip part, but not remote.
