More success test


Mercedes W164 key program successful. Add key with Auro OtoSys IM600.

Pin calculation took about 22 minutes with me having to remove key from
 

up400 and insert it EIS about every 5-7 minutes for 30 seconds.

Auro OtoSys IM100 + UP400 = OtoSys IM600 IMMO Function

As titled, will Auro OtoSys IM100 work with UP400 programmer to perform same IMMO function as IM600 (For immo only, don’t mention auto diagnosis)?

Confirmed! OtoSys 100 + UP400 will be able to do the same immo key programming as im600.

With the up400 adapter,  apart from the Mercedes key programming, your Otosys IM100 will have features like bmw cas4 key learning, 2015-2018 Land Rover&Jaguar Key Writing, Volvo Smart Key Learning etc.

Most require eeprom work!

Otosys IM100 will work like Auro IM600 for immobilizer features and read PIN/CS from AUDI Q5/A4/A5 2015-2017 and learn keys to Mercedes-Benz

I request technical support because with the Auro otosys IM600 I want to read a cas4 module from bmw and at the time of reading I get a legend that says CONTACT YOUR DEALER BECAUSE THE HARDWARE VERSION OF THE PROGRAMMER IS TOO LOW.  The newest upgrade says it will write BMW CAS4.

Hi, the new upgrade requires higher version UP400, you can send the up400 to where you bought the equipment to be updated in hardware. Then it will compatible with new features.

Don’t forget to provide your Auro serial number, including, IM600/IM100 tablet, J2534 box and UP200/UP400 programmer. You can find S/N on the back of the main host.

If you find your IM600/IM100 don’t work on these features, try to contact your dealer first. Then send the UP200/UP400 programmer back for upgrade if necessary.

Auro OtoSys IM600 Read and Unlock Megamos 48 Chip

Auro Otosys IM600 tablet and up400 adapter reading and unlocking Megamos 48 transponder guide is provided below:


Insert Megamos 48 Chip into UP400 adapter


Select Programming function->Key read & write->Automotive Detection





IM600 read key type: Megamos 48



Select Lock Check



The Megamos 48 Chip is locked



Go back to Function menu, select Other functions->Key unlock->Megamos 48






Megamos 48 transponder chip unlocked successfully.



Check the chip status: Unlocked

Read EEPROM ST95040 with Auro OtoSys IM600 and UP400

Auro OtoSys IM600 is a diagnostic, key programming and ecu coding 3-in-1 tools. Here's a real test report on reading EEPROM ST95040 together UP400 eeprom adapter.

Remove ecu
Connect IM600 with UP400 adapter and computer
Select Programming->Chip Read & Write->EEPROM->ST->M95XXXX->M95040->View Diagram

OtoSys IM600 will show you identification for direction of eeprom chip, which adapter and how to connect etc
Follow wiring diagram to connect UP400 adapter with eeprom

 Select Read Operation
If Auro IM600 prompts no chip response, you can
1.check whether the chip is connected
2.check whether the chip type is correct
3.check whether the chip is placed correctly or in good contact.

 If all okay, IM600 will read eeprom  ST 95040 chip data

Save eeprom data.
