Autel IM608 Program ProMaster City All Keys Lost with Activate Alarm

 Question: 

Can the Autel IM608 II do all keys lost for a Ram Promaster City 2015? It has active alarm. The BCM gets locked with alarm.

 

Here is the clue.

If without active alarm, IM608 can do via OBD. It cannot program all keys lost if BCM gets locked with alarm.

The Fiat uses a different BCM and right now autel has a flash in there that modifies it and kicks out the alarm but that setting doesn’t work on a ProMaster.
If the door is opened or the key is turned on and the chip is not recognized it’ll be an alarm state if the doors were locked doesn’t matter how you open them.

When the alarms active you can’t make a key and the only way to deactivate the alarm is do what’s called an emergency start or you simulate the key after reading the data and then start the vehicle or new BCM this is how the dealer accomplishes it.

The only option is to pull the BCM simulate the key.  Read immo data from bcm to make simulated key to disarm alarm.

And it was a ProMaster City. With a key ignition. The push start ones don’t need all of this.
This is not required on a regular ProMaster or a push start one.

Bench on bcm read data to make simulator key ran for 2 mins with blade and simulator held next to ignition. BCM unlocked key programs like normal.

It’s on simulator key and you use metal blade to turn it with simulator and start vehicle and let run for like 2 minutes at least to get bcm unlocked. You have to simulate the key and deactivate the alarm or it won’t let you get into programming mode.

The procedure is on the IMMO side.

Open up the all keys lost menu then click on and start the process then it’ll bring up the diagrams.

There are 4 bcm options that Autel shows.

All soldering are on the back side.

Don’t split make sure to use the resistor it asked for. Had to grab a 10 ohm resistor. It won’t read with wrong resistor.

You have to go back and connect to the car once it loads the diagram (Autel will show you the diagram) and loads into the thing you can’t exit then go do all the rest of it.

You have to have an APB 112 and a testkey theoretically you could drive it all day long with a simulator and a test key once you make the file.

Autel IM608 RAV4 2022 ECU Software Not Supported?

 Problem:

Anyone able to do a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Smart Key with Autel IM608? I keep getting this error message when trying to back up immo data.

Error “The current smart main ECU software version number is not supported”

Solution:

Go to add a key after reset, and it will ask you if you want to use APB112, say no and it will prompt you to program and you can turn ignition on, i get this message every time i try to back immo data on any new toyota smart keys or if you try and do all keys lost by using analog key. Good luck.

 

If it is a BABA need to hook up 30 pin connector.

Need cable connection.

You can also use the gbox with just jumper wires. All it does is connect power ground and Can H & Can L to the smart box, and allows you to back up immo. depending on the smart box, you sometimes need to move one of the cables according to the wire diagram.

My frind also did one 2023 rav4 hybrid with xhorse xm38 reading immo fine, oh, try keep pushing and releasing start/stop button on this stage, obdstar prompt this, not Autel, and I then try the same with Autel on this car and it worked , but may have some using a different ECU which will need a obdstar 30 pin cable to connect to smartbox. I did a 2022 rav4 Prime using that.

 

Feedback:

I was able to complete the job. I ended up doing smart box reset like method 1 above.

How to Solve Autel IM508 2022 Toyota Tacoma Remote Not Working?

 Problem:

In a pinch 2022 Toyota Tacoma push to start using Oem keys not the new system. Program new key using Autel IM508 now both keys don’t work remotes but proximity works any ideas ??

hyq14fbb it’s Oem and it’s the right key. I can make the car beep during testing in one of autel’s function.

Or solutions I unhooked battery I don’t see a sync like the new ones if they lose remote functions.

Solution:

That’s not the correct sync that’s for a keyless entry remote. ECU learning to sync the remote.

Menu path:

-Control unit
-Keyless system
-Ecu synchronization
-Synchronize ID authentication box and steering lock
-Need to do it for each key (did a 22 GX460)

 

Sometimes only need to do it once. Not for each key. They will both work once done. In future, leave ignition on while programming and most of the time it won’t kick the remotes.

Autel IM608 Program Toyota Corolla 2019 All Keys Lost by OBD

 How-to: program Toyota Corolla 2019 proximity all keys lost with Autel IM608 pro.

 

Tools used:

Autel IM608 Pro

Autel APB112 Emulator

Xhorse XM38 Toyota smart key

 

Procedure:
First try Automatic selection, if failed to read VIN, try manual selection.
Select Manual selection->Europe-> Corolla->2019-2022/09->Smart Key->MZEA11 immo box->Control Unit->Keyless System CAN->Backup Immo data->Backup via OBD

This function requires network connection.
Turn ignition off and turn on emergency indicators.
This function is used to back up EEPROM data of the smart box, so you can perform IMMO related functions without PIN code.
Read eeprom immo data and save.

Select Generate analog key function
Select the EEPOM data just saved

Connect APB112 emulator with IM608

Generate analog key completed.

Put APB112 close to the start button and press Start button
If the instrument turns on, click Yes to continue
Select Add Smart Key, maximum of 4 keys can be learned

Turn on ignition switch
Enter and confirm VIN
Turn ignition off and turn on emergency indicators
Select the EEPROM saved in step 1 again

Keep a programmed key close to the start button, the buzzer will beep one.
Keep the unprogrammed key close to the start button, the buzzer will beep twice.
Turn on ignition switch

Put a learned smart key close to the Start button.
When learning is completed, you will hear a buzzing sound.
Program completed. Test the new key.

Done.

Method 1:

Very simple use apb112 and it takes 5 mins.

You need to generate a master key with the apb112 then use it to add a key.

Autel+apb112+ xhorse xm38, easy and no need to adjust xm38’s frequency.

Autel IM508 Program Subaru BRZ 2013 All Keys Lost

 Subaru BRZ 2013 proximity all keys lost is done with Autel IM508 XP400 Pro.

Get Denso ECU box out, unsolder the chip, read eeprom 93C86, solder back, connect Denso back, use autel im508 with apb112 to create analog key then add smart keyless.

Using after-market key.

Definitely saved a customer 2k$ because the dealer charges 2800 to replace key + smart box + engine ECU.

Answer:

If it’s add key, autel is able to add it without LSID. Either way, you can try it. If it shows you 3 data lines, then not possible.

Autel doesn’t support toyota/lexus 2018+ all key lost yet, still in development.  2018 before AKL requires APB112 emulator. As for lonsdor you’ll need to Lonsdor specific smart key and open AKL license on your device which has to be renewed every year.

If all keys lost, it requires Toyota Subscription with techinfo.toyota.com. The newer Toyota’s have an extra security component even adding keys diagnostically will be a problem unless you have the special password.  IM608 can do the ’21 Corolla’s and Camry’s (at least) by OBD as long as you can provide the 12-digit outcode.  The im608 requires a response code of 12 digits, which comes after you submit the 3 lines of data.

Autel cannot bypass the seed code (LSID). Best bet is Techstream subscription with NASTF.

Its the $65 security professional script. If you have a yearly subscription there is no cost. The yearly subscription costs $1,295.

You can purchase a 2 day subscription at a cost of 65 dollars. Then you have to wait for email ( up to half hours) then you can re-log back in to site and get 1 free key code. It’s much quicker to just pull out the drivers door lock cylinder and get the key code. It’s stamped right on it!

If bypass the seed code, there is no option for all keys lost or generate smart key, only add key, then add the key.

Once you have reset immo, you go back and add key. It’s confusing, but that’s how it’s done.

Step 1: Backup IMMO data
Connect IM608 VCI and APB112 emulator

The function is used to backup the EEPROM data of the smart box of the vehicle.

The data can be used to generate the simulator key for emergency start of the vehicle to perform the key matching function.

Save backup file.

Step 2: Generate simulator key

Choose Add Smart Key menu and follow Autel IM608 prompts to add new original smart remote until succeed.
