How to Solve Autel IM608 BMW EWS3 Response Timeout?

 Question: I failed to read BMW 2004 model EWS3 immo data with Autel IM608 Pro. Follow the instruction but gives a response timeout error.

Solution:

Do following
1. Enter the BMW EWS3 path of the programmer to try to read and write;
2. Check whether the adapter board pins correspond to the EWS3 slots accurately;
3. Operate in strict accordance with the operating instructions.
4.
Step 1: Connect the matching board and EWS3 module first.
Step 2: Connect the board and XP400 PRO.
Step 3: USB connect XP400 PRO and tablet.
Step 4: Connect the 12V power supply to the XP400 PRO; note that the power of the IM608 must be more than 30%.
Step 5: Open the menu and execute the read function.
Step 6: The 12V is not connected, and the function is executed directly, the USB port will hang up and cannot be used. In this case, please restart the tablet, the USB port is enabled, and communication can be performed normally.

If not working, send data log to Autel technician.

Autel IM608 Audi VDO NEC24C64 Failed to Read Immo Data?

 Audi A1 2017 VDO NEC 24C64 2014 all keys lost. Customer bought a dealer key at Audi before contacting me. I took the job even if he already had the key to experiment. I tough as he had a dealer key i could easily add it by OBD with Autel IM608 but security access fails to read immo data. I removed cluster and read eeprom 24C64. When i load this file under immo function “load immo data”, fails to read it. Someone already done this?

Solution:

Odis if you have a dealer key. geko online, 1 min job.
Better to give VVDI2 or Avdi/Abrites a try, people had better results on those with other all keys lost  at least.

Autel IM508 Renault Kadjar 4A Prox UCH Blank Solution

 Here comes the common problem of Renault Kadjar 4A smart card with Autel IM508/IM608 or other tools.

Example: 

Renault Kadjar 2017 Add key (aftermarket 4a card), i have battery support 14V from another tuning car.

I want to immo status scan, Clear DTC, then ESC,

Go to: Immobilizer – remote Control learning,

Then -> START

Tried to read pin and shows failure

Back to: immo status scan, and then looks like UCH is blank.  It wipes the keys when you read the pin. Now the original key doesn’t work either. 0 cards and UCH unlearned.

Solution:

It also deletes the original key. Try once again ‘Add key’ procedure.

Go back to immo status scan, clear DTC and try once again – immobilizer – remote learning – key learning and execute “Add key” procedure.
You need battery support 14V.

And then everything was ok, made dealer key and successfully learned 2 cards.

Autel IM508 Audi S7 2013 BCM2 AKL Car Not Start Solution

 Question: Audi s7 2013 bcm2 all keys lost, Autel IM508 got the cs code, generated dealer key, programmed proximity, key was written in the system, remote and prox works, the car won’t turn on!

Is it the key? Did it happen to anyone?

Solution:

Missing sync data.

Can be obtained from key supplied by dealer or 3rd party about 350-450$.

If order dealer key or get sync data, it will work.

Autel IM508 Program Audi A3 2005 All Keys Lost with APB112

 Audi A3 2004 to 2013 all keys lost requires 7th byte CS code via eeprom. Here is the trick. The job can be done by Autel IM508/IM608 with APB112 emulator directly via OBD without removing immo box.  It is easy to do as long as no one else touched it and does under lost keys. It is safe because there is no working transponder. Need good power as well.

Model example: Audi A3 2005.

 

How to:

Make device and vehicle connection

Select Immobilizer-Audi -A3- 2004 to 2013 -Control Unit- Conti CAN Ins (CDC32XX+ 24C32 A3TTR8) immobilizer- Read Immo Data of ECM

Detecting engine type
it takes sevral minutes to read immo data
Read CS, PIN and ECU software number and confirm

IM508/IM608 read only 6-bytes CS code
you need to find 7th byte CS
Select Search for 7th byte (all keys lost)

This function is used to search for the 7th byte when all keys are lost. There are 2 search modes: Automatic and manual.

Automatic mode:
Smart key: Place the apb112 smart key simulator close to the Start/Stop button until the search succeeds.
Blade key: Place the APB112 smart key simulator close to the ignition, insert the non-chip key into the ignition and turn ignition to ON until the search succeeds.

Manual mode:

Smart key: Place the apb112 smart key simulator close to the Start/Stop button, and repeatedly turn on and off the ignition until the search succeeds
Blade key: Place the APB112 smart key simulator close to the ignition, and use the non-chipped key to repeated turn on the ignition to ON and then turn it off until search succeeds.
Automatic search is faster and manual search is slower as it requires manually turn on/off ignition until the search succeeds.

This model has smart key. Here we use automatic mode.
Enter the first 6 bytes of the CS code of the vehicle
Connect the APB112 smart key simulator and then press OK
Select Automatic search

Follow steps below to search for 7th byte

Search 7th byte CS code successfully.

You can now add key and learn key.

Program VW Passat CC 2012 ID48 Key with Autel IM608

 Volkswagen Passat CC 2012 is done with Autel IM608 in Smart mode via obd.

I programmed 3-4 of them with the 608. No problems, but you have to do it on the bench. Read eeprom and write key via dump ( make delete key then learn the key all on bench).

You can pull CS and pin via eeprom. Make sure you get a good read of the eeprom, desolder it from the comfort module.

Procedure:
Read immo data.
Make dealer key.
Learn keys 2-2. Done.
Car went in programming mode from an idiot Who don’t generate dealer key.
He wants to add directly id48 on the car.
I made by obd with autel without problem.
Usually I clone it is safety way.
When you have already 1 key . Akl is this mode.

Program Toyota Corolla 2020 All Keys Lost with Autel KM100

 Autel MaxiIM KM100 immo programming is very impressive. With PLC 200 you can go directly into programming.  Here is a little walk thru on 2019+ toyota/lexus non-prox flip all keys lost programming.

Preparation:

Obtain the12-digit  rolling codes from a third party.

Procedure:

This is a Corolla 2020yr

This car has a key but the remote stopped working when I inspected the remote. The back was so far damaged I couldn’t repair it.

turn the key to the unlocked position watch that passenger door lock
connect PLC200 dongle with vehicle via OBD and pair PLC200 with KM100 via Bluetooth

hit the teamviewer id to allow access and now we have control

even though we have a key i want to see if it does all keys are lost.

Go to IMMO function- Toyota

Auto scan VIN very fast

Decode VIN and check vehicle information, it is a Corolla 2020

see it is 2020

Immo status scan

Autel KM100 says one DTC in the immobilizer
we go head and do the quick erase up on the top right there
You don’t have DTCs when you are programming key on this car.
Go into Immo Learning- Immobilizer – Immobilizer Reset (all keys lost)

The driver’s door is open

Copy and paste rolling code here

go ahead and hit OK

it’s gonna take 16 minutes to reset immobilizer so we’re going to hit ok turn it off,  remove the key and turn it back on

it should do the 16 minute countdown

so pretty cool.

Go back let’s do the add key

Turn ignition on with a master key

we input the password

switching off remove the key

Insert the smae key and leave ignition off

Leave the ignition off

cycle the key on and off eight times
car starts ok
this thing works for that

let’s go and do the remote side
hold Lock and unlock

let go and hit unlock

there you go

we’re clearing the remotes

and we’re programming the new one at the same time

That’s it pretty quick still 16 minutes plus remote program, nothing different

just for $500 you can do this car and a bunch more.

You can use it instead of im508 im608 on many vehicles to program keys as it’s simple and easy to pack/unpack and compact, it’s convenient.

Do Autel universal remotes have a space for an emergency key?

What is everyone using to hold the emergency blades in the Autel universal keys?

Do the universal remotes have a space for an emergency key? Flip key?

Answer:

It does have a space for an emergency key. Flip key is available soon.

You can use superglue.

You can also drill a hole and put a pin that’s all you’re using same xhorse blades.

I tap a M3 hole and use a M3 x 4mm grub screw. Works good.

Autel IM508 Program 2003 JEEP LIBERTY All Keys Lost

 2003 JEEP LIBERTY IMMOBILIZER SKREEM all keys lost.

Lishi the door

Used the Autel im508 with a metal key to get the password, then y160 blank key to finish the process, success

the instructions are on the screen.

The 2003 is the VPW and not 2004-2007 which cannot be pulled (05-07 is the PACIFICA/SKREEM. Not pulling pin obd.). early key is the Y160 and not the Y164…keep that in mind when doing this.
