Autel IM508 Program Audi A3 2009 All Keys Lost by OBD

 Audi a3 2009 1.9tdi all keys lost is done with Xhorse VVDI2 and Autel IM508.

 

Got the 6 CS bytes from vvdi2 and got the 7th with autel with the apb112 emulator.

Read 6 of the cs bytes and PIN code with vvdi2,then used the autel to search for the 7th byte all lost keys in expert section using the app112 emulator.

All by OBD.

Autel IM608 Bricked Audi Encrypted BCM2 Solution

 Xhorse and Autel which is better to add key Audi encrypted BCM2?  Software version 0711 is very risky.

 

Autel IM508/IM608

You will need xp400 pro. XP400 will not read bcm2 encryption. XP400 Pro has some advantages over xp400 might look the same but it reads more chips and unlocks locked keys etc.

Autel works fine on encrypted BCM2 but requires using diodes (Normal rectifier diodes, 1N4001-1N4007).

But Autel has a risk of breaking BCM2.

Here is an example:

Tried to read encrypted BCM2 with IM608 and XP400 Pro. It identified correctly, read some data, tried to calculate and came back with network error and now the BCM is dead.
BCM2 recovery will not work as the file Autel saved is ‘not supported’.

It read a 1kb data file and 41kb immo file and then lost communication after that. Autel didn’t make a backup as it died in the reading process.

 

Time to get a new BCM2. Buy a new BCM and dealer key and ODIS.

 

Xhorse VVDI2 or VVDI Key Tool Plus all day for those. Xhorse is much better for VAG.

Vvdi2 or Key tool plus with BCM2 adaptor. No soldering is required. Works perfectly. Done BCM2 AKL with in 30min all job.

If car won’t crank, boost the car to get more that 12v and learn the same key again. Also clear dtc after learning.

VVDI2 and VVDI Prog also can clone locked BCM. Just need to buy this same HW /SW, load service data, and read it again and decode.

Autel IM608 Cayenne Kessy Lost Communication Solution

 Problem: Today i try to add a key to a Porsche Cayenne 2008 with Autel IM608.

Read data from ecu me7 -ok
7th bytes from working key – ok
Make dealer key – ok
Program key – no ok
Lost communication with car when i want to program.
The original key can always start the car. Any solution?

 

 

Possible solutions:

Solution 1)
Just went through this a couple days ago. I had to jump fuse 26 and 36 to wake up car gateway aka cluster and then used VVDI2 to do key learn with pin I got from Autel, because Autel kept losing communication, if you go under diagnostic and talk to Kessy you’ll see it talks just fine but some glitch in the learning process.

just put power to the car normally and then jump the power from a full time fuse like 36 to the one that needs to be powered up 26.

You might be able to do it through diagnostic mode using same instructions as vcds and a PIN code like you would with earlier Volkswagens.

Solution 2:

the solution was to pull kessy and eeprom it then make key on bench.. ended up being quicker than trying to add the key obd2.

Will Autel IM608 Program Audi A6 2014 All Keys Lost?

 Does anyone programming via obd All key lost Audi A6 2014 BCM2 S line?? I have Autel Im608 pro. On the autel web it’s saying AKL via obd ?? So I don’t understand??

Answer:
Autel web says AKL via OBD. That was BEFORE VW/AUDI SHUT DOWN THE SERVER ACCESS.

This is very well known, it has been like this for a year now.
You can do add key and all keys lost. But it clearly states it cannot get password.
So if u get the sync file yourself you can do ADD key and AKL.
Read the whole entire column, if you did you would have seen that it DOES NOT get password.
It supports the part that adds key and does akl, the part it does not support is the sync file.

You can pull them out by obd, I did it with vvdi2, but you will still need sync file, this is what I’m explaining from beginning. Read Dflash and Pflash on bench, then send to someone and pay for the sync file. But this is a technical job, if you don’t know what you are doing, stay away from it.

Autel IM608 Audi A6 C6 EZS Kessy All Keys Lost via OBD

 Here’s the instruction on Audi A6 C6 4F (2004-2011) EZS kessy all keys lost with Autel MaxiIM IM608  by OBDII mode without removing BCM immo box. Maybe someone need instruction to get same work do to.  Xhorse VVDI2 cannot this 100%, but have to remove immo box to read data and then prepare dealer key.  It’s a major pain in the butt to remove the module. IM608 procedure is much easier and quick.

 

This is an Audi A6 C6 4F year 2005. The customer has lost all keys.  I have to connect fuse box wire 15 and 30 fuse and get electric power on. Took about 10 minute work, very easy job, made Dealer key and program the key (aftermarket key) with IM608.
IM608 has no instruction for this car and situation. Have to use google to power up (bridge 15 & 30).

Internet was connected, all time when use device, don’t know how much is depends or not, but key programmed success and customer have a great day to get the car running again.
On instrument cluster is nothing immo data it not need to come on, it just give extra power to elv and ecu then you can read the data and make it run.

Step 2: Read PowerClass (Read CS & PIN)
Step 3: Modify the IMMO Data

Those fuses you jumped in 2007 Audi A6 would be:
15 amp fuse 31 Rev. lights, multitronic, eng. comp.
30 amp fuse 38 wiper system

All keys lost guide with vvdi2

Here’s the Audi A6 C6 4F All keys lost guide with Xhorse VVDI2+ VVDI Prog if have them in hand. Short a fuse in order to wake up system, read all data obd, make dealer key then learn in. Quick job. Check main steps below

  • 1. Remove EZS
  • 2. Read EZS data with VVDI Prog
  • 3. Calculate CS

In VVDI2 software, go to Audi- Sepcial function- EEPROM data processing tool
Select “ECU Simons PPDIX – Reset component protection data”
Click “Load” the load the data that read out just now, open it.

It calculates the CS code. Take a picture to record it.

  • 4. Calculate PIN

Select “ECU Simons PPDIX – Security Access Code”

Click “Load” again to load the file.

PIN code is read out, record PIN code.

  • 5. Learn key 

In VVDI2 click “Learning Key”- “Audi A6/Q7” Option.

Input the CS and PIN code, you will see “Learning Key” and “Generate dealer key” are enabled.

Click “Generate dealer key”

Generate dealer key is done.

Next is to learn key

Disconnect the short insurance line (fuse box).

Connect back

Take out the chip from VVDI2 and put it into the ignition data coil.

Click “Learning Key”

Open and close car door, turn on ignition, press down brake.

Click “Learning Key”.

Learning successfully.

  • 6. Generate remote

Read EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM.

Click “ok”, select Chip type 9S1201128, the aim to read EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM is to generate OEM remote control.

Save EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM.

Generate OEM remote control.

Vertical put remote controller on the coil of vvdi2

Following the prompt the put the remote controller, click “Next”

Remote control is generated successfully, assembled key and to test.

Test the key whether it can start the A6.

 

 

All keys lost guide with AVDI

1) first, connect by jumper wire the pin 1 + the 16 (A6 2006) of obd2 to have communication with engine ecu, and after with avdi go to Special function of (EZS-kESSY q7/a6) and click (Auto detect – from engine ecu) when it show you 6 cs + pin, so there put your transponder 8E OR remote and in (tag key tool) click Make Dealer key, and follow the procedure of avdi screen.
2) if American system the car so must be your remote part number (4F0 837 220 A) if EUROPE (4F0 837 220 M )

Can Autel IM608 Make Audi A4 RB8 AKL?

 Question:

Anyone successfully done Audi A4 RB8 cluster all key lost with Autel IM608? If so how?

Suggestion:

IM608 Yes:
Get immo data, make dealer key, not learn key. I made few days ago RB8. Not learn key, there was an option “Add key”. You need to put dealer key into programmer and autel automatically adding key to clusters. Try, but not always work.

VVDI2 or Key Tool Plus Yes:
Vvdi2 straight in. Xhorse beats Autel in Audi and VW.
Done with vvdi2, Autel needs to do something on that car.

Autel XP400 and VVDI2 Program BMW CAS3+ Dealer Key

 XP400 chip programmer can easily do the chip read and write, key read and write on PC. Here's the demo example on reading CAS3+ EEPROM with Autel XP400 and write key with Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer.

 

 

 

Step 1: Read CAS3+ EEPROM with XP400

Download XP400 software on PC

Remove CAS3+ module, connect CAS3+ with XP400 programmer via APA106 adapter following the wiring diagram




In XP400 software, select Chip function->03-IMMO->BMW-> CAS3+ 0L15Y EEPROM, press OK


Read EERPOM and save dump


Step 2: Make dealer key with VVDI2

In Xhorse VVDI2 Transponder Programming function,  select Euro->BMW->CAS3+ (0L15Y, 0M23S)


Load EEPROM dump read by XP400


Insert a vvdi super chip XT27 to vvdi2's coil


Select an unused key position and press Make Dealer Key


Select transponder type VVDI super chip and press OK to continue


The selected key position not support directly start. To continue need write EEPROM back. Press Yes to continue.


Press Yes


Prepare dealer key success. It can start engine after write back new dump file or learn it to car.


Save new key dump data.

 

Step 3: Write Data back with XP400

Run Autel XP400 software, open new key dump data and press Write 



Write EEPROM back completed.


Now the key can start engine.

Install CAS3+ module back to vehicle.

Test new key.

Done.
