 Autel IM508 and IM608 released new immo update on March 1st, 2022.

Audi:
1. Adds Read Encrypted BCM2 IMMO Data function for Audi A4/A5/Q5 as of 2013 (version: 0711, 0650, 0641, 0633).
2. Adds Read Encrypted BCM2 IMMO Data function for Audi A6/A7/A8 as of 2013 (version: 0827, 0825, 0824, 0582, 0572, 0560, 0551, 0521, 0510).

Volvo:
1. Adds Add Smart Key, All Smart Keys Lost, Erase Smart Key and Read CEM Security Data functions for models below: XC40 EV (2021), XC60 PHEV (2018-2021), XC90 PHEV (2016-2021), S60 PHEV (2018- 2021), and S90 PHEV (2019-2021).
2. Optimizes process for Key Learning and Read CEM Data functions as well as operation guide and schematic diagrams for some systems.

Autel IM608 Program Benz E350 2013 VVDI FBS3 Key

 I have an all keys lost 2013 mercedes e350 with the proximity smart key. I’ve read not to put a battery until the end.

I’ve read aftermarket Keyless go keys (I got the Xhorse VVDI FBS3 key) don’t work on C and E class. Only for S class, ML, R class etc. keyless go functions won’t work. I decided to have a try with Autel IM608.

It worked! I initially went under on vehicle G-Box fast and it said it couldn’t do it so then I went to All keys lost regularly in vehicle and it got the password very quickly but it never asked me if it was a smart key so I I thought it wasn’t going to work but it worked fine I put in the battery after a programmed and went to test it out after a minute.

I found these keys work most likely on later years

Did myself 12,13 S class

12,13 Gl class

C class 2014 as well

E class 2010/11 no work

C class 2009-2011 no work

Keyless go function work/ no work based on EIS version and NOT by chassis code.

I can tell that as much as the car newer more likely chances to work.

Can I use Autel MaxiSys ENET Cable with IM608?

 Anyone use an old Autel maxisys BMW ENET cable adapter with MaxiIM IM608?

Yes. You can use this cable, BMW F and G body program and code.

First, connect it to the vehicle’s obd socket, and there will be two connectors left. Just plug one into the obd connector on the diagnostic machine (autel or topdon…)and the other into the ethernet connector. If the diagnostic device only has a USB port and does not have an ethernet RJ45 port, use a usb to ethernet converter.

I have used this cable with the Autel IM608 CIP for F series and it works great! But I need dealer ista d/p for a issue with DME MEVD17.4 replacement on F36 N20. I didn’t have an enet cable handy but since made custom cable. The Autel cable doesn’t have the resistor needed, it must command as part of the JVCI multiplexer. But as you mentioned I had to use a RJ45 to USB adapter as well. With a good adapter, the programming times are fair with CIP.

Autel IM508 XP400 Add 2018 Renault Clio 4 Key via OBD

 As we said before, Autel and Xtool are safe for Renault 2015 up smart key card programming. We have done a Renault Clio 4 2018 successfully today. Added a spare key with autel im508 and xp400.

maintain the battery at 13v. It’s doing load maintenance I was at 13.47

 2011 BMW 135i all keys lost was done with autel maxiim im608!

Tried first to do all keys lost through IMMO status failed because of CAS3++ istap and chip was encrypted.

Then used CAS3 downgrade in IMMO option and after 46th try on key insert it worked! By the way never had one to start on any first couple tries.

Who ever had issues downgrading remember you did something wrong or car was the issue. Customers play with INPA and other crap to code and update.. battery is the main reason..have done multiple of these thru OBD2.  It takes 25 min job..customer purchased it for parts..just needed to know if it run and engine spins..no blade cutting

Next time buy a maintainer for the battery & keep up over 13V. That way you have no issues. Good job.

I know and trust the tool I use, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with doing it like that. Provided you know how to fix the CAS if it goes wrong.

It’s usually quicker than whipping out both CAS and ECU and reading them, less hassle, and it’s a perfectly valid way of finding the last four bits of the ISN.

Always use battery support to downgrade CAS and I put a booster pack on – different thing – when doing the <64 times process. If the starter motor is going to fail in the next 64 attempts to start it, it was going to fail anyway.

Mostly, the car starts between 32 and 60, but I’ve had them go on the second try, and the 63rd.

You know how to fix it if it goes wrong though… a lot of people using im608 don’t.. that’s why they are using it to do bmw encrypted systems.

Autel IM608 Asks for 39 Digit PIN for Renault Duster 2021?

 Can anyone calculate the 39 digit pin code of a Renault duster 2021? Autel MaxiIM IM608 asks for PIN to program a spare key. IM608 says it will do Duster 2018 onwards.

Solution:

Autel IM608 cannot calculate PIN on 2021 Duster yet.  You have to obtain 39-digit PIN from third party then program a smart key card.

It is not a matter of gateway adapter. It cannot be read even with the 12+36 gateway adapter.

You need someone to sell you the code because it is rolling code and changes every entry and exit.

If IM608 can calculate PIN on some Renault, it will ask to connect gateway adapter. Autel does not have a gateway converter yet,  you can go for OBDSTAR green adapter.

Autel IM608 Program Renault Duster 2017 Key by OBD

 Renault Duster 2017 is done by Autel MaxiIM IM608 in 3mins. Easy money.  IM608 can do Duster 2013 to present.

Autel XP400 Porsche Cayenne 93C86 Chip Not Connected?

 Question: How to program a new key for Porsche cayenne Continental with Autel IM608? year 2008 is 315mhz with Panic button. Autel XP400 Pro says chip not connected.

Solution:

Obd or on the bench. 2 options here. Sometimes it goes via obd easy. If not then in the bench.

Petrol is usually ok by OBD. Diesel on bench. Normally.

 

You need with cs and pin. You just cannot proceed without PIN and CS.

Remove the kessy read the 93c86 and get pin and 7 digits cs. Then program it by obd. CS needs to precode the key then program it with pin code.

Just did one today.
1. Remove chip and read using APA002.
2. Dealer key
3. Load EEprom data
4. Make dealer key

5. Learn key

Autel IM608 Audi A6 C6 EZS Kessy All Keys Lost via OBD

 Here’s the instruction on Audi A6 C6 4F (2004-2011) EZS kessy all keys lost with Autel MaxiIM IM608  by OBDII mode without removing BCM immo box. Maybe someone need instruction to get same work do to.  Xhorse VVDI2 cannot this 100%, but have to remove immo box to read data and then prepare dealer key.  It’s a major pain in the butt to remove the module. IM608 procedure is much easier and quick.

 

This is an Audi A6 C6 4F year 2005. The customer has lost all keys.  I have to connect fuse box wire 15 and 30 fuse and get electric power on. Took about 10 minute work, very easy job, made Dealer key and program the key (aftermarket key) with IM608.
IM608 has no instruction for this car and situation. Have to use google to power up (bridge 15 & 30).

Internet was connected, all time when use device, don’t know how much is depends or not, but key programmed success and customer have a great day to get the car running again.
On instrument cluster is nothing immo data it not need to come on, it just give extra power to elv and ecu then you can read the data and make it run.

Step 1: Read IMMO Data
Step 2: Read PowerClass (Read CS & PIN)
Step 3: Modify the IMMO Data
Step 4: Make a dealer key

Those fuses you jumped in 2007 Audi A6 would be:
15 amp fuse 31 Rev. lights, multitronic, eng. comp.
30 amp fuse 38 wiper system

Here’s the Audi A6 C6 4F All keys lost guide with Xhorse VVDI2+ VVDI Prog if have them in hand. Short a fuse in order to wake up system, read all data obd, make dealer key then learn in. Quick job. Check main steps below

• 1. Remove EZS
• 2. Read EZS data with VVDI Prog
• 3. Calculate CS

In VVDI2 software, go to Audi- Sepcial function- EEPROM data processing tool
Select “ECU Simons PPDIX – Reset component protection data”
Click “Load” the load the data that read out just now, open it.

It calculates the CS code. Take a picture to record it.

• 4. Calculate PIN

Select “ECU Simons PPDIX – Security Access Code”

Click “Load” again to load the file.

PIN code is read out, record PIN code.

• 5. Learn key 

In VVDI2 click “Learning Key”- “Audi A6/Q7” Option.

Input the CS and PIN code, you will see “Learning Key” and “Generate dealer key” are enabled.

Click “Generate dealer key”

Generate dealer key is done.

Next is to learn key

Disconnect the short insurance line (fuse box).

Connect back

Take out the chip from VVDI2 and put it into the ignition data coil.

Click “Learning Key”

Open and close car door, turn on ignition, press down brake.

Click “Learning Key”.

Learning successfully.

• 6. Generate remote

Read EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM.

Click “ok”, select Chip type 9S1201128, the aim to read EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM is to generate OEM remote control.

Save EZS-KESSY(J518)EEPROM.

Generate OEM remote control.

Vertical put remote controller on the coil of vvdi2

Following the prompt the put the remote controller, click “Next”

Remote control is generated successfully, assembled key and to test.

Test the key whether it can start the A6.

 

 

All keys lost guide with AVDI

1) first, connect by jumper wire the pin 1 + the 16 (A6 2006) of obd2 to have communication with engine ecu, and after with avdi go to Special function of (EZS-kESSY q7/a6) and click (Auto detect – from engine ecu) when it show you 6 cs + pin, so there put your transponder 8E OR remote and in (tag key tool) click Make Dealer key, and follow the procedure of avdi screen.
2) if American system the car so must be your remote part number (4F0 837 220 A) if EUROPE (4F0 837 220 M )

BMW E90 CAS2 ECU Replacement with Autel IM608

BMW e90 with water-damaged engine ecu, couldn't read original ecu anymore. I used a second one engine ecu and i renew cas2 easily with autel im608 you can follow the procedure by diagrams. The system ask you to put the key heartz the second hand ecu isn code(which it can be read by obd )

and the car chassis number. Then you write back to cas the renew eprom file and put it back on car. Did a cas dme synchronisation and boom the car is back on road.
