How to Read ST95040 using Autel XP400 and IM600

Back in October I received my free upgrade for my Autel IM600 *XP400* to replace the *UP400*

I made a post that shows the New and improved XP400 reading a ST95040 Eeprom “In-circuit” with success, HOWEVER I wanted to show another video of the XP400 messing up a Eeprom *95080*. I was able to re-write the data to that corrupted Eeprom with another tool from an original dump that I saved.

REMEMBER

Step 1 in Eeprom work is to always save the original dump/read

My step 2 is perform another read and save that dump then compare the original to the second dump and if those files are the same then you can play around with other questionable tooling.

When I was reading the 95080 Eeprom with the new and improved XP400 I attempted to read the device in the default state (5volts) which the reader is set to. Needless to say the dump came back as all FFFF’s. I proceeded to adjust the voltage down to 3.3 volts (in voltage settings) and again performed another read…. this time the read came back correctly. However when I adjusted the voltage back up to 5volts and attempted another read it corrupted the dump. (The IM600/XP400 mentions it can damage the device) I then re-wrote the original saved bin file back to the Eeprom with a different Mini programmer without issues .

So before you think that the new and improved XP400 works like a charm you have to be careful on how you use it. Having the data sheet on the device your working on always helps to identify what voltage the programmer should be set to for reading and writing. The XP400/IM600/IM608 still needs work on the Eeprom side.. it appears they are making some improvements but are not quite there yet.

How to Retrieve Keyless Entry Keypad Code on Ford F150 2006? Here's the guide using Auro OtoSys IM100/IM600 tablet.


*Keyless Code/Door Code:
The keyless entry uses a five-digit code to unlock the doors when it is entered correctly. The five-digit code can be changed from the default code set at the factory to a user-defined code. The users can set it to whatever sequence they want, providing better security and a code they will remember.

Procedure:

Connect IM600 and UP400 with vehicle via OBD

Select IMMO->Ford->Automatic Selection->Read VIN

VIN information decoding

Select Hot Function->IMMO & Keys->Factory Keyless Entry Code

Turn on ignition

Auro OtoSys IM100 + UP400 = OtoSys IM600 IMMO Function

As titled, will Auro OtoSys IM100 work with UP400 programmer to perform same IMMO function as IM600 (For immo only, don’t mention auto diagnosis)?

Confirmed! OtoSys 100 + UP400 will be able to do the same immo key programming as im600.

With the up400 adapter,  apart from the Mercedes key programming, your Otosys IM100 will have features like bmw cas4 key learning, 2015-2018 Land Rover&Jaguar Key Writing, Volvo Smart Key Learning etc.

Most require eeprom work!

Otosys IM100 will work like Auro IM600 for immobilizer features and read PIN/CS from AUDI Q5/A4/A5 2015-2017 and learn keys to Mercedes-Benz

I request technical support because with the Auro otosys IM600 I want to read a cas4 module from bmw and at the time of reading I get a legend that says CONTACT YOUR DEALER BECAUSE THE HARDWARE VERSION OF THE PROGRAMMER IS TOO LOW.  The newest upgrade says it will write BMW CAS4.

A:

Hi, the new upgrade requires higher version UP400, you can send the up400 to where you bought the equipment to be updated in hardware. Then it will compatible with new features.

Don’t forget to provide your Auro serial number, including, IM600/IM100 tablet, J2534 box and UP200/UP400 programmer. You can find S/N on the back of the main host.

If you find your IM600/IM100 don’t work on these features, try to contact your dealer first. Then send the UP200/UP400 programmer back for upgrade if necessary.

Auro OtoSys IM100 Program Jeep Compass 2007 Blade Key

How to: read security pin code and learn key on a Jeep Compass year 2007 using Auro OtoSys IM100/IM600 tablet.

Step 1: Read Pin Code

Turn on ignition switch 

Select IMMO->Auto Detect VIN->Jeep USA->Manual Selection->COMPASS->2007- Blade Key->Read Immobilizer Password (CAN)

Turn ignition off and turn on the emergency flashers

Read security code success

 

Step 2: Learn Key

Select Immobilizer (CAN)->Key Learning->Erase Key

Erase all learnt keys
 

Auro IM600 require to enter Pin code to access

Erase successfully 

Select Old Key Learning

Turn ignition off, insert the key to be learned and then turn the ignition on.

Simultaneously press LOCK button and UNLOCK button, then press Unlock button. Repeat above steps for many times in 30 sec.

Key learning completed.

How to: VW Passat 2014 Kessy (Keyless Access System) Key Learning with Auro OtoSys IM100/IM600.

Procedure:

Select IMMO->Auto Detect VIN

Reading vehicle information

Analyzing vehicle IMMO type

1. Megamos 48 key; #31 Key Blank
2. Key learning procedure performs the same whether or not vehicle has Kessy Learning Remote Controls is needed while there is no kessy.

3. “Key Learning” function will first clear all working keys, then learn keys available. “Remote control learning” function will first clear all working remotes, then learn remotes available.
4. “Key Add” function will add one key to existing key count. “Remote control add” function will add one remote to existing remote count.
5. It is normal that the instrument will be automatically restored later remains dark possibly while the function is active.
6.In case the instrument remains dark and cannot be restored due to unexpected factors, please go to Expert Mode->Instrument CAN->VDO NEC+24c64 2013->Reset instrument for restoration.

7.Way to Expert Mode: manually select Brand, and then select Expert Mode.

Check key status

Select Key Learning function

Read IMMO Data

The instrument will turn black, which is normal.
It will automatically restore instrument later.

Perform Key adaption to vehicle

Confirm have Kessy

Auro OtoSys ask to enter number of keys to be learned: 2

Insert 1st key into vehicle induction coil, wait for 2 sec and then press OK.
If other keys are too close to the coil. it may cause key learning failure.

Insert last key into vehicle induction coil, wait for 2 sec and then press OK.

Key learning completed.

The car has Kessy, do it does not need to learn remote control.

Auro OtoSys IM600 and Obdstar X300 DP - What’s the difference

2015 jeep grand Cherokee: Did not pull pin then locked my out.

Cannot get the PIN: The 100 didn’t give you options to get the PIN code

Success:

2013 Dodge Ram 1500s: Did fobik (non prox) key

it would not learn the key on the immo side but if you used the diagnostic side and ID’d the vehicle and went into the RF hub… I was able to program the fobik key. NOTE: I wasn’t able to pull the pin on either side (immo or diagnostic)

2014 Chevy impala: Did not program the key

With Im 600. Did 12 minutes but the light stay lit. Used different machine to do a 12 minute.

2017 Honda Accord Sport Editon: added a new key

2015 Camry H chip: new key programmed

Great function: So is the machine will have great functions and will be one of the best I have two but right now a lot of people do not want it because it has some errors but if it works I have been using it and if it works

Chance to diagnosis, programming and parameters: The team if you work. It is not recommended as the first programming team. For Price. Other more economic teams are recommended and then set up. But I’ve had a chance to diagnosis, module programming and booking of parameters. etc

Pretty streamline: The price $3500 is a bit much off obdii365.com it sure is a great kit though. Made it pretty streamline if you’ve used an Autel.

Good diagnostic but Limited Immo: Diagnostic side of the house no doubt about it. My point is its immo/key programming capabilities is too limited at the moment for its price.

Clone fobik keys: I have the im600 what menu do you go to when you trying to flash a ECU or BCM can Im600 clone fobik keys

Ford IMMO: Very pleased to see the update Ford IMMO into Auro IM100 and IM600

New: its a new tool and they to test it thoroughly before releasing it to the market. Its trend with all tools from Asia

Easy to use: The reason I’m thinking of getting this unit is it looks very easy to use as I go out to more and more non start cars with the immobiliser light flashing and need to interrogate the immobiliser Ecu as our current mobile locksmiths have made so much money that they can’t now be bothered to check a system for £50 cash which leaves the customer high and dry. But at £2500 its a major investment which will take a long time to break even

Fast and good: Im600 they look pretty good and they have a good future is fast but no updates very few

Pretty: It’s pretty kick butt. Did Honda’s, Toyota and even Volkswagens
