Can Autel IM608 Clone Mercedes ECU?

 Is it Possible to Clone Benz ECU with Autel IM608?

Clone not possible, but virgin “new” one,  only refresh scn code and vin, and the, you can adapt the donor ecu, with DAS,Xentry, Autel ms908, etc.

Xentry can do it offline. No need online for this ecu. Read first the scn code and software version, and you can make all the adaptations offline. With Vediamo also.

Autel IM608 BMW FEM No Communicate Solution

 I have read eeprom, modify eeprom and write eeprom modify with Autel IM608. After that replay clicking, try put original file and same problem and FEM not communicate, Anyone Help?

Your problem is that you had a bad reading. You should clean chip. Good before reading and read few times and save few files.
Better read with xhorse vvdi prog.
You need to fix eeprom file and write back.
Im608 in general not good with bmw.

12v not enough 14.5v try

Desoldered EEprom, wrote back original file, and then i used VVDI2 to update FEM, then after just follow instructions, and FEM worked again.

If you desolder EPROM put file original and same problem, the eeprom is dead.

Change eeprom for new one, there program original file. Then read data and check is frequency is ok.

Autel IM608 Renault Clio V 2020 Gateway Adapter?

 Problem:

I have a 2020 Renault Clio V and Autel IM508 asks me “This function needs to remove the gateway connector, then use a specialized adapter to connect the gateway connector, whether to continue”
What do i need to do, i do not have a special part for Renault.

Solution:

Autel does not have a dedicated adapter for Renault. You can use OBDSTAR green adapter or other gateway connectors.

Read Audi BCM2 Encrypted IMMO Data with Autel IM508 IM608

Here is a demo guide on reading BCM2 encrypted with IM508+XP400 Pro.  It is possible with normal xp400 because they both have APC101 adapter. If you check the pinout the gbox only providing the power + can lines thus the old one could be suitable too.

Go to IMMO- Audi- Expert Selection- IMMO V- A4/A5/Q5- Read IMMO Data via Programmer (encrypted)

Perform this function will erase all keys and add keys for Audi A4, A5 and Q5 2013 onwards.

Check wiring diagram

Autel will show you the wiring diagram
Connect im508, xp400pro, gbox2 and external power supply with bcm2 follow the diagram

On the “VVP2” and on the “RESET” wires you need to use diodes (120 ohm)

Select Step 1 identify vehicle information
Check vehicle information
ECU software version 0650 is supported

Select Step 2 Read Immo data
Connecting programmer

Reading data
Read data success, auto save to default folder

Calculating

Data will be written, it is strictly forbidden to move the module during the execution

Autel IM608 Toyota Prius 2010-2018 All Keys Lost Guide

 Can i use Autel IM608 to program Toyota Prius 2016 Proximity lost all keys? Does the APB112 emulator is required to program Prius all keys lost?

 

Confirmed! Add key is easy without APB112. Need APB112 for all keys lost.

*For Prius from other regions, Go to autel website go to support- vehicle coverage tab then input year make model and the machine your using and autel will tell you if it can or cannot do a key.

 

Method 1. Without Emulator 

Lost all keys cannot start car

Find VIN, the 10th digit is year code. D means 2013’s car

In Autel IM508 or IM608, select Toyota- Automatic selection
the function requires network connection
If failed to read automatic read VIN, you select Manual selection – USA- Prius-2010 to 2018- Smart key-Control Unit- Keyless System(CAN)

Select Smart Box Reset

Turn on hazard warning lights

performing this function will clear all smart keys and make sure that the driver door is always open

Reset will take about 16mins

The programmer can reset system so we don’t use the simulator key APB112.

after reset, select Add smart key

Put a smart key to be learned close to the Start button, will hear beep

Key learning completed

Test new key. Done.

 

Method 2: With APB112 emulator

After select vehicle information, go to Backup Immobilizer data (OBD)

This function is used to backup the EEPROM data of the smart box of the vehicle. The data can be used to generate simulator key for the emergency start of the vehicle to perform the key programming function.

Put abp112 simulator key close to Start button

Read immobilizer data and save.

Generating emulator key

The simulator key is generated successfully
The emulator can be used to turn the ignition on in case of emergency to learn key.

Now perform add key with the emulator key until completed.

Can Autel IM608 Unlock BMW Mini PCF7945 Remote?

 Is there any way to unlock a used key pcf7945 for a 2011 Mini Cooper using Autel IM608? It said unlocking failed.

Solution:

With im608 and xp400/XP400 Pro you can unlock.
If you got the autel im608 IMKPA kit you should have everything needed to do that if you can find the diagrams you should have everything you need for that.

Must have plate APB 113, The plate comes with the Autel IMKPA kit.

With keydiy, barracuda you can unlock it as well.
