Auro OtoSys IM600/IM100 Add Nissan Sentra 2017 Proximity Key

How to use Auro Otosys IM100/IM600 tablet to add proximity key on a 2017 Nissan Sentra.

Connect Device with vehicle via OBD socket

Select IMMO->Nissan->Manual Selection->North American->Sentra->2017 up->

Immobilizer/Smart System

IM100/IM600 Scanning vehicle system

Select When performing key regiseration->Register Key

Set the vehicle to the following status, and then press OK

-Ignition switch or power switch: LOCK

-Hazard switch: ON (for preventing BCM from entering into CAN communication sleep mode)

-P(A/T) or neutral (M/T)

-Battery voltage: more than 12.5V

-Steering: Not in fully locked

This procedure erases all registered key ID.

Therefore, all of the customer's keys should be obtained before starting this procedure.

Operate according to the following procedures:

1.Press push-button ignition switch for 2 sec or more and turn on ignition

Perform key registration. Operate according to the following procedures:

1. Press PUSH button ignition switch and turn off ignition

2.Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Check that indicator or Push-button ignition switch flashes

3. Contact the back side of registered smart key to push-button within 5 sec. Check that buzzer in combination

meter sounds twice.

4.Check that turn ignition switch changes automatically to the ON position and that security indicator

flashes 5 times. Check that push-button turns ON

5.Press push-button ignition switch and turn to OFF position. Wait for 3 sec or more

6. A maximum of 4 smart keys can be registered by repeating procedure from step 2 to step 5 using unregistered smart keys.

Press Next to end key registration mode. 

After key registration operation, the system returns to key registration mode.

Operate according to the following procedures:

1. Press Push button ignition switch once. Check that indicator on push button flashes.

2.  Contact the back side of registered smart key to push-button. Buzzer in combination meter sounds for 2 sec

3. Press push-button ignition switch and turn OFF. Wait for 3 sec or more

4. Check that key warning lamp flashes 5 times when driver door is opened or closed

5. Check that security indicator flashes at intervals of approximately 3 sec while ignition switch in the OFF position

6. Operate registered smart keys outside of the vehicle. Check that doors lock and unlock.

This status indicates that key registration mode ends.

Check the following items using all registered keys:

1 Put smart key in the vehicle (within the inside key antenna detection area). Check that push-button ignition switch can change the ignition switch position and that it can start engine

2.Put smart key outside the vehicle (outside the inside key antenna detection). Check that ignition switch cannot be changed using push-button ignition switch

3. After completing above confirm operation. Press END button. Check and erase DTC.
