How to Get Autel IM508 IM608 Teamviewer Support?

To remotely connect to the Autel tablet device, here we use Autel IM608 as a demo to show the procedure.

Open Remote Desk Teamview Program.

Make sure your tablet is connected ti the network before doing the Teamviewer.

After entering the software, stay in the below page until the end.

Page from the other side (PC end)to connect your tablet shown as below.

Input the Teamviewer ID from the tablet then click Connect

Click Allow so your tablet will be remotely logged in from the other side.

Now your device has been connected.

Autel IM608 Pro Range Rover 2010-2015 AKL via OBD

 Today, we’re gonna be doing a 2013 Range Rover all keys lost with Autel IM608 Pro, the customer has a key stop working, it doesn’t turn on the car.

Year: 2010-2015 Land Rover Range Rover

Smart key FCC: KOBJTF10A

Keyless system (Can)

OBD: add key yes, all keys lost yes.

So the first thing we’re gonna do is to connect our J2534 ECU box which is our diagnostic tool the blue one, we’re going to connect with our APC101 cable instead of doing a wireless, so you cannot do this wireless so turn off your Bluetooth connect your APC101 usb cable to your Autel IM608 tablet to your diagnostic tool.

So right now, I’m just looking for the VIN of the vehicle.

you can get it from the door, or you can get it from the dash right there as you guys can see that open.

 

Okay, so we need this later on to compare it, we’re gonna do automatic selection so that we can compare the vin, make sure that it’s the correct vin.

 

I have the new key in my hand ready to program. I tried to turn on the car but it wouldn’t give me a notification on the cluster. About the key I wouldn’t detect the key.

 

Let’s start you guys we’re gonna go “IMMO”.

Go ahead and look for the make Land Rover.

 

We’re gonna go to “automatic selection” and then “Read” to read the Vin.

You can see we already compared our Vin that we got from the door are from the dash and that’s the exact same vin.

 

Because if it’s wrong, you guys will not get this done correctly, so let’s go ahead, check all our information.

 

Let’s go ahead and continue press yes.

So we’re gonna go to “control unit”, then “Keyless System (CAN)” , then “All smart keys lost”.

 

So go ahead and press the start button.

 

Click “Yes” to delete all keys.

 

Read the notice:

1. All of the learned smart keys will be erased, there must be at least two smart keys need to be learned.
2. The original vehicle key need to do “Recover Smart Key” function at first.

So click on “Yes” to go ahead.

 

Please turn the ignition off.

 

Was the ignition automatically turned on? click on “Yes”.

 

And have vin information , part number and software version one more time.

 

All smart keys were erased, please learn new smart keys.

 

Put the learning smart key on your hand.

 

Press Unlock button of the smart key to be learned for 1s within 5s, if the vehicle does not respond a few more times.

 

It says “Learning successful”.

Tap “No” to not continue to learn the next one.

 

Exit Autel IM608 Pro menu.

Use the new key to start the car, perfectly, it works.

 

We are going to go ahead step on the break.

Press the start button.

As you can see we have successfully programmed our 2013 range rover smart key with Autel IM608 Pro.

How to Self Check Autel XP200 and XP400 Programmer?

 Sometimes, Autel IM608 with XP400/XP400 Pro programmer failed to read any types of key chips like ID46, 47, 48, 49, AES and 5C, etc, and shows “Chip communication failed. Please check whether the chip is placed correctly or in good contact” error (see the figure as below).  Check the solution from Obdii365.com engineer.

Solution:

1.Check if the USB interface and cable are normal, go to “Programmer” menu on Autel IM608 tablet and provide the programmer version information & device series number.

Step 1: Make sure that you have not connected the programmer to the vehicle OBD connector.

Step 2: Check if you use the right USB cable to connect the device to the XP400 programmer.

Step 3: Go to “Programmer” menu to check the programmer function.

 

2.Please download the following PC version programmer V2.61 software directly or go to Autel official website to download and check if it can read successfully.

Notes: The programmer software applies to XP200, XP400 and XP400Pro.

The software will auto adjust for the programmer.

If programmer connection can’t detect any keys both with PC end and tablet.

Please describe how the programmer stops working after what operation? And it needs to return to the factory to repair if all of methods above tried and are still not working.

Here is the 2020/2021 Subaru Smart Key AKL programming guide using IM608/IM508:

 

Don’t need online subscription. 
Network connection is required. It’s all by OBD
You can use OEM, aftermarket, used new, Old as long as it looks the same.
They do lock but can be reset, not every device will do them, but some can. HYQ14AHK.
Better use APB112 emulator key.  If you don’t have APB112, you can do reset procedure. 2 steps: Just reset  smart box and then add key.

 

 

Example:

2021 Subaru Crosstrek all keys lost done with IM508 all by OBD.

1). Reset smart box

Resetting smart box.

Remove this relay to stop the horn honking for 15 minutes.

*you try and sit inside a car that’s been in 95 degree heat all day with the doors closed for 15 minutes. Remove the relay no worries.

Reset successful.

2) Add key

3). Register/Learn key

Bring the access key(s) need to be registered close to Start/Stop button in 60 sec

Then use the keys have been learnt to turn on the ignition in 60 sec

Can Autel IM608 Make Audi A4 RB8 AKL?

 Question:

Anyone successfully done Audi A4 RB8 cluster all key lost with Autel IM608? If so how?

Suggestion:

IM608 Yes:
Get immo data, make dealer key, not learn key. I made few days ago RB8. Not learn key, there was an option “Add key”. You need to put dealer key into programmer and autel automatically adding key to clusters. Try, but not always work.

VVDI2 or Key Tool Plus Yes:
Vvdi2 straight in. Xhorse beats Autel in Audi and VW.
Done with vvdi2, Autel needs to do something on that car.

Autel IM608 Pro Program 2004 Toyota Sequoia All Keys Lost

 2004 Toyota Sequoia lost all keys. Autel im608 pro was able to read program keys and write back.

The 8 leg cradle is required. It comes with the im608 pro package.

It was much easier than the vvdi key tool plus I could only read could not figure out how to write key.  Vvdi prog has the in-circuit adapter also, but i don't have this tool yet.

Autel IM608 Mercedes 08 AKL No Keyless Go?

 Problem:

I’m doing AKL on a 2008 Mercedes CLS 550 using Autel IM608 XP400 and GBox2. Did fast method in vehicle. Password calculated in 13 min. Used new VVDI keyless go key. Key programmed, started the car when turning in EIS slot, and remote function works (315 w resistor removed) but keyless go doesn’t work. I press the button on the automatic shifter and IC msg “key not detected”. Not sure what to do as I only have one.

Extra info. I accidentally had an old factory MB IR key in my pocket as I was programming this one. I don’t think it should have caused any interference though.

Cause and solution:

It is probably not fbs3 system as original key is probably older chrome type. So you need type 08 mb keyless board.

Read original and it shows tou type key xhorse or any fbs3 key don’t work on older models.

Neither Xhorse nor CG keys will work for older non-BGA cars before 2009.
You need original for those. You can’t do keyless on shift button start its 09 and up. 

You can read original key type with programmer and you can find original key same type (VERISON 08 keylessgo 3 buttons) for 100-200 dollars and it works.
