Autel IM508 IM608: Obtain VW PIN and CS Code?

 Tutorial on how to obtain VW PIN code and CS code when programming key with any of IM600/IM608(Pro), IM100/IM508, MaxiSys IM, OTOFIX IM1. [Related vehicle models ]: VW with IMMO IV, MQB, IMMO IV & MQB (for example: Volkswagen Amarok 2011) , [VW Version]: v5.10 and higher.

 

1. Users send request to ask PIN code and CS code.

Go to IMMO>>VW>>Advanced Mode

 

1.1 MQB

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

Advanced Mode>MQB(Beta)>Key learning

Advanced Mode>MQB(Beta)>All keys lost

 

1.2 IMMO 4

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 Instrument CAN>Key learning

Advanced Mode>IMMO 4 Instrument CAN>All keys lost

1.3 IMMO 4+MQB

Add key and all key lost two menus as follows:

2. User contacts Autel dealer or Autel tech support

Contact Autel dealer or Autel tech support to obtain codes when screen shows like below. User please tell the VIN of his vehicle.

3. Autel tech support tell user the PIN code and CS code

Autel dealer or Autel tech support will tell user the PIN code and CS code via phone, email or instant messengers.

 

4. User inputs PIN code and CS code to finish the key learning.

4.1 MQB

Menu Path:

Expert Selection>Instrument MQB >VDO NEC 35XX>Make dealer key

Add 2021 Lincoln Navigator Smart Key by Autel IM508

 Hey guys, we have 2021 Lincoln Navigator to add an all-new smart key using aftermarket smart keys and Autel MaxiIM IM508 key programmer, it should be simple we’ll find out together, let’s do it.

 

Firstly, connect the OBD cable to the port underneath the driver’s side dash, once connected, navigate to the tablet home screen and select “System settings“.

Connect to a strong dependable WiFi signal, a mobile hotspot is recommended.

 

Once you finish, return to the home screen and select the IM508 APP, select “Immo“, accept the disclaimer, then select your make [Ford] is the one for Lincoln, then choose “Manual selection”, choose your make and model Lincoln and navigator, then the desired year and smart key.

Confirm your selections.

Then choose Hot function, then “Add smart key (guided)”.

Once you hit OK the vehicle should learn the key once it’s learned, you can keep programming new remotes or if your key fails, you can repeat the process, your remote at this point should have all button functions as well as proximity function. test them all to make sure everything’s working.

Can Autel IM508 Add 2017 Range Rover Sport Key via OBD?

 Problem:

Trying to add key to 2017 Range Rover sport with Autel IM508 XP400Pro. Is it possible via obd if I have one working key?

Solution:

You have to do this on bench.

 2010-2015 Dpla system – obd

2016-2018 Fk72 system – bench

2017-2019 Hpla system – bench

2019+  Jpla system – new kvm module, two new keys and a scan tool with doip j2534 interface

If you don’t want to do any removal since the customer has a working key, go for Lonsdor K518ISE and a dedicated JLR key. Lonsdor can do it via OBD.
