 Autel MaxiIM IM508 and IM608 released new GM IMMO software on Aug 1st, 2025.

Update Log Function Updates

GM_IMMO

1. Adds IMMO functions for the following models of Chevrolet: BrightDrop 400 (2025), BrightDrop 600 (2025), Tahoe (2025), Suburban (2025), Silverado/Corvette/Colorado/Traverse (2025), Equinox/Trailblazer (2025-2026), etc.

2. Adds IMMO functions for the following models of GMC: Acadia (2025), Terrain (2025), Sierra/Canyon/Yukon (2025), etc.

3. Adds IMMO functions for the following models of Cadillac: Celestiq (2024-2025), Vistiq (2025-2026), CT4/CT5 (2025), etc.

4. Adds IMMO functions for the following models of Buick: Envision (2025), Encore GX (2025), etc.

5. Adds IMMO status scan and guided functions for models as of 2020.

6. Adds VIN decoding function for certain new models.

7. Optimizes IMMO functions for certain models.

It doesn’t say it reads code. Autel has always been able to do them when you get the code from 3rd party.
They added the programming function for newer models till 2025, you will still have to get pin code from 3rd party.
It’s always just been easier to use sps2
and the 2 hour wait is still there with code from 3rd party.
